Giving a speech in front of thousands last week has really gone to OM’s head. Whats he thinking? Let me explain...
To become a member of the Lunch Gang you took a oath to uphold the book of Man Rules forever. We call it the “Circle of Trust”. Because of the popularity and publicity the Lunch Gang is getting (we know Fox 2 Detroit’s Roop Raj...we’re still wondering why he looks away when he see’s us...well that’s another story all together) you just don’t become a member by sitting at our Reserved Table in the Bago Cafe’ (formerly know as Goose Lane Cafe’). No Sir...not at all.
So here’s the story. OM made cookies. Yes that’s right cookies. It wasn’t until the “Big Boss” sat down at our table did we even know about the cookies. He looked at OM and thanked him for the cookies. ALL EYE’s turned to OM and without rehearsing anything we all said at once “What Cookies...we like Cookies”.
Come to find out, he wanted to impress Ms. Daisy with some of his other talents. We all know better. Here’s what he really did... He brought in an empty container from home; stopped at the store and purchased a couple bags of Mrs. Fields Chocolate Chips cookies. Placed the cookies inside the container and put them on his front seat. Then he turned on the “Seat Heater” on high so the cookies would heat up on his drive into work. We called OM junior and he ratted out the old man. His words exactly “My mom does all the cooking around here”.
Man Rule #1243129534-01231 Paragraph 9, Section 3 clearly states: Any and all cookies brought to work, for any occasion, must be accompanied by a separate container set aside for fellow LG Members to enjoy with their morning coffee.
Reading Man Rule #1243129534-01231 OM is in clear violation. It wasn’t until after he took a beat down did he give up any cookies to fellow LG Members. From being such an active LG Member to this secretive stuff. WOW!
Those of you who read this Blog on a regular basis (in the hundred of thousands now) might be wondering what OM’s speech was on. Because of the nature of the speech all I can tell you here is, it had something to do with “Sacks, Juices and being hard inside”.
